Dear Participant,
Many thanks to you all for supporting our 8k on June 12th and to our 64 sponsors and 15 external primary school teachers (who provided excellent childcare)! Congratulations to our 100 primary school pupils who crossed the line in the junior race and congratulations also to our 300+ participants who registered for our 8k run, jog, walk. Growing from last year, this event has now become a must for all keen runners, joggers and walkers in the area.
We are already planning next year’s event! Our first race committee meeting for Castlehackett 2017 took place after the event on Sunday. Always conscientious, we have decided to use chip timing in 2017 and as it will be our third year to host the event, we will be providing a free technical shirt for all participants! Prize money is also going to increase in the Senior Male and the Senior Female category! We all share a love of sport and it’s our way of thanking you for our race loyalty.
